It’s dreams that make life worth living!
It all began when a little boy believed that cartoons were real and dreamed of meeting and playing with those characters - that little boy, was me. As I got older and understood that cartoons were just drawings, my dreams of meeting them in real life evolved into wanting to draw my own characters to interact with my childhood cartoons.
Fate gave me the chance to chase my dream when me and my family came to Canada from Wales. I’ve been able to go to Art College and I’ve met some incredible actors when visiting Comic Cons! Drawing what comes from my imagination is just like making magic, and the pencil is my magic wand!
My name is Scott Hamilton, and these are my Curiosities!
First up, we have some character lineups and explorations of the book series: Beast Quest.
This is a series where two children named Tom and Elena are sent by Aduro the good wizard to travel around their homeland Avantia to battle magical beasts sent by the evil wizard Malvel.
During this, Tom also must battle against Malvel’s servant Seth, who tries to thwart him and Elena at every step of the way!
For this next couple of concept art designs, I have created a Teen Titans GO iteration of the DC Supervillain: A.M.A.Z.O.
A.M.A.Z.O. is an android who has possesses the technology to copy the abilities and powers of the Superheroes he fights against.
This next batch of concept art is for my all time favourite handheld video game: Pokémon!
I do not own the rights to Pokémon, I just wish to show what ideas I have if I was to ever create some of these fantastical characters!
I have two evolution lines of a Water Type and a Grass Type Pokémon. They would be your first partners at the start of the game, and often your most powerful member of your team.
